Starting Yoga at Home

1.You need to stop think that you will miss some lesson by not going to class.

2.Your exercise at home will be different, but it does not mean worse or better.

3.Check in with your breath; let it be the start of your starting point. Track the breath into specific body parts and let that part move.

4.Listen to your body; let it tell you how to move. Do not think about what pose you should do but feel what pose you are drawn to.

5.Develop spontaneous movement. This practice help you drive into the pose sequences that serve you.

6.Practice without clock.

7.Be willing to change halfway through.

8.Get back to child’s mind.

9.Be creative, to takes you into the spirit of practice no matter whatever it takes.
