Pages to review

Rotation preview

Rotate pages individually or use the all-pages controls above. The preview reflects the current angle for each page.

Fix sideways PDFs fast

If an entire PDF was scanned or exported with the wrong orientation, use rotate-all controls and save a corrected file.

Adjust only the wrong pages

Mixed-orientation documents are common in scan bundles. This page lets you rotate only the pages that need changes.

Browser-side processing

The selected PDF is processed on your device in the browser, so the core rotation flow does not send the file through this site.

How to rotate PDF pages

  1. Select one PDF file.
  2. Rotate all pages left or right if the whole document needs the same fix, or rotate individual pages in the page list.
  3. Reset any page or the whole document if needed.
  4. Download the updated PDF with the corrected page orientation.

When to use Rotate PDF

Use this tool when a scan is sideways, a mobile capture is upside down, or one section of a document has the wrong page orientation while the rest of the PDF is already correct.

Rotate scanned PDF pages

Rotation changes page orientation, not the text recognition layer. If a scanned PDF is upright but still not searchable, that is an OCR issue rather than a rotation issue.

Limits

This version rotates pages in 90-degree steps and exports one updated PDF. It does not OCR scanned files, merge multiple files, or split pages into separate outputs. Very large PDFs may take longer to load and save.

Concrete examples

Fix a sideways office scan, turn upside-down mobile captures upright, correct only the landscape appendix in a normal PDF, repair mixed receipt orientations, rotate class handouts for printing, or clean up archive scans before sharing them.

Common mistakes and what to do

If text is still unreadable after rotation, the issue is probably OCR rather than orientation. If only a few pages are wrong, rotate those pages instead of the whole document. If preview rendering is slow, wait for it to finish before exporting.

Privacy and processing

This tool processes PDFs in your browser. The PDF you select is not uploaded to PDFresh for this workflow. Processing speed and stability still depend on your device and browser.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate just one page in a PDF?

Yes. Each page card has left and right rotation controls, so you can adjust only the pages that need changes.

Can I fix a scanned PDF that opens sideways?

Yes. If the issue is page orientation, this tool can fix it. If the issue is unreadable image text, that is a separate OCR problem.

Is the PDF uploaded to PDFresh?

No. The core rotation flow on this page runs in your browser on your device.
