FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. X-Ray runs in your browser. PDFresh does not receive your PDF file, file name, thumbnails, or output PDF for this workflow.

What problems can X-Ray find?

It can flag likely blank pages, orientation review candidates, unusual page sizes, and pages where no text layer is detected. It does not claim to find every privacy or content issue.

Can X-Ray change the original file?

No. Changes are applied only to a new PDF that you download.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

Yes, scanned PDFs are the main use case, but image-heavy or unusual files can use significant browser memory.
