PDFresh Terms of Use

These terms explain the practical limits of PDFresh and what you should verify before relying on any output from the site’s PDF tools.

What PDFresh provides

PDFresh provides focused PDF tools and support pages for common document tasks such as splitting, rotating, merging, removing pages, extracting text, and adding visible marks or repeated text. Tools may change over time as browser support, libraries, and site structure evolve.

No guarantee of perfect output

PDF output, extracted text, page order, font rendering, spacing, and metadata can vary depending on the source file, browser, device memory, and PDF library behavior. You should not assume the result is complete or error-free without checking it.

Check important documents against the original

If you are handling contracts, invoices, court filings, certificates, academic records, or anything with legal or financial consequences, compare the exported result with the original PDF before sharing or submitting it.

OCR and restricted PDFs

PDFresh does not claim OCR support where it is not provided by the tool. A browser-side text extractor can read an existing text layer, but it does not automatically convert image-only PDFs into selectable text and cannot promise to bypass document restrictions.

Browser-side processing limits

Some tools are designed to process the selected file in the browser for the main workflow. That does not mean every page request, ad request, analytics event, or future tool works the same way. Read the specific tool page and the Privacy Policy when that distinction matters.

Reasonable use and contact

Do not use the site in a way that attempts to break, overload, scrape aggressively, or misrepresent PDFresh’s capabilities. If you find a problem or unclear wording, contact contact@pdfresh.com. Related pages: Privacy Policy, About PDFresh, and All Guides.
