How to Fix Sideways Pages in a Scanned PDF

Fix sideways scanned pages by rotating individual PDF pages in the browser and exporting a saved corrected copy.

Common cases

Receipts, forms, landscape pages, and mixed-orientation scans often produce a PDF where only a few pages are sideways.

View rotation vs saved rotation

Some PDF readers rotate only the current view. PDFresh exports a new PDF so the selected page rotations are saved in the file.

Use PDFresh

Open Clean Scanned PDF, choose the file, rotate the sideways pages from the page list, remove unwanted scan pages if needed, and export the cleaned PDF.

Limitations

This fixes page orientation metadata for exported pages. It does not deskew tilted text or improve scan quality.
