How to Remove Blank Pages from a Scanned PDF
Learn how to remove blank backs, separator sheets, and unwanted scan pages from a scanned PDF while reviewing every page before export.
When this happens
Duplex scanners often capture blank backs. Batch scans can also include separator sheets or duplicate pages that should not appear in the final document.
Use PDFresh
Open Clean Scanned PDF, choose one PDF, review the thumbnails, run blank-page suggestions if needed, delete the pages you do not want, and export a cleaned copy.
Review suggestions
Blank-page detection is only a suggestion. A page that looks blank may still contain faint stamps, page numbers, signatures, pencil marks, or scanning noise, so review candidates before removing them.
Limitations
PDFresh does not perform OCR, deskew tilted scans, redact text, or repair corrupted PDFs.
