Extract Pages vs Delete Pages from a PDF
Decide whether to extract selected pages into a new PDF or delete pages while cleaning the original document flow.
Use extraction for a new file
Extract pages when you need a chapter, form section, invoice, or page range as a separate PDF.
Use deletion for cleanup
Delete pages when you want the original document flow to remain but need blank backs, separator sheets, or duplicates removed.
Workflow
Use Extract Pages from PDF for ranges such as 1-3, 7, 10-12. Use Clean Scanned PDF when page review and rotation are part of the cleanup.
Limitations
Neither workflow edits text inside a PDF or performs OCR.
