How to Prepare a Client PDF Packet in Your Browser
Prepare a client PDF packet by cleaning scans, extracting only needed pages, merging documents, and checking text layers locally.
Short answer
Build the packet from reviewed pieces: clean scans, extract only needed pages, merge in final order, and manually check the exported PDF before sending it to a client or coworker.
Typical packet
A client packet might include a cover page, agreement, invoice, receipt images, and supporting attachments. Each source can have different problems: blank backs, sideways pages, extra separator pages, or pages that should not be shared.
Checklist before merging
Keep the original files, remove pages that do not belong, rotate sideways pages, confirm the first and last page of each source, and check whether any page contains personal information that should not be included.
PDFresh workflow
Use X-Ray for visual PDF review, Extract Pages from PDF for only-needed ranges, Merge PDF to combine the reviewed files, and Extract PDF Text only to check whether a file has selectable text.
Tested example
A sample packet was assembled from a cover page, selected contract pages, and scanned receipts. Cleaning removed blank backs first, extraction kept only the contract pages needed, and merging produced one packet for final manual review.
Failure cases
The most common mistake is technical success with the wrong content: a duplicate page, missing exhibit, private note, or outdated cover sheet. Open the exported packet before sending it.
Limits
PDFresh does not redact sensitive text, apply signatures, verify legal completeness, perform OCR, or replace a document management process.
